Singapore Flu Spread Out

Not only in Singapore, had Singapore Flu also spread over to Indonesia, even my daughter also infected by this disease. Of hand, foot and mouth or known as the Singapore Flu outbreak in Singapore.

The Straits Times reported last week, as many as 825 children infected with this disease. The number was increased compared to the previous week that only 780 case a week. The number of cases for the first time exceeded the epidemic level since 2010. The number of cases of flu in Singapore increased rapidly since the last week in Singapore. It adds a dramatic surge in the number of cases to 3457 this year, more than doubled over the same period last year,

Singapore's Health Ministry said. Until now, the 17 child care centers and nursery right into the watch list and six others were closed for 10 days. Health Ministry spokesman said the number of children admitted to hospital only a few. But he did not say how much. He also said that no case is really great at two public hospitals where children are infected with the disease being treated.

Singapore flu that occurred this year was unusual because it occurs at the beginning of the year. The flu usually affects children just before school holidays between March and May and between August and October. Children who are infected with the virus suffered wounds in the mouth, hands and feet. The majority of the disease can be cured by itself, but also sometimes dangerous. The doctors advised the parents to pass on to their children good habits such as washing hands before eating and not sharing food and food equipment.

Children should remain at home if they are sick so as not to spread it to other children. In Indonesia, an outbreak of flu that attacked dozens of children in Depok,- West Java. But there is no loss of life caused by this disease.
