Viruses Life Cycles
There are two kind of viruses life cycles:
Lytic versus lysogenic life cycles
In the lytic stage, many viral particles are made and copies are sent back into the environment. A virus is found in this phase when conditions are suitable like a bacteria is "growing like crazy"
Virus attached to the bacteria as host, then virus insert its DNA into the bacteria, virus then take over the cell’s machinery, then reproduces itself and self-assembles. The last step then the host is destroyed.
In the lysogenic phase there is no pathology.
Under certain conditions the lysogenic lifestyle can switch to a lytic lifestyle.
A virus is found at this stage under harsh conditions.
This step called as prophage stage:
Virus binds to bacteria as a host, then virus insert its DNA into the bacteria, the viral of DNA gets incorporated into the cells chromosome, then viral DNA is replicated along with chromosomal material.
